After buying a brand new generator that was dead on arrival, I took it to JC Electric for repair.
Cougar was awesome answering any questions and was responsive to all my texts. My generator now works on the first pull.

Did a dealer/service search within 100 miles of our remote mountain ranch. Had a problem with “low oil pressure” alarm on my Generac 15kW EcoGen. Called almost all of the dealers/service listed and described my problem. Responses ranged from “O, we’ll ask our tech and if he has an idea he will call your back” (apparently had no ideas!) to dealers saying they are no longer Generac dealers. Last call was to JC Electric and Solar on a Friday and spoke to C. He suggested some things to consider and helped me troubleshoot. The following Monday C called me back at 8:00 p.m. to check in and see if I had been able to resolve the issue. We spoke about what steps I had taken and C suggested further follow-up ideas to pursue. When off-grid, it is reassuring that someone out there is willing to talk you through an issue with your back-up generator. Thank you C: I will do business with you again and recommend you highly.

Cougar was awesome, after having a issue with our generator not coming on during outage, He was able to figure out the issue and resolve it and the generator is working great and ready for the next outage. Highly recommend these folk.
